Visiting the Goldcoast, Australia we found a few places that had vegan options in the area, which was awesome.
There were a few places inside the Pacific Fair Mall, including a cafe (located near one of the exist, can’t remember which side sorry) that served a veggie breakfast which I swapped the eggs for avocado no problem, perfect. There was also a balcony over the water so you can enjoy the Aussie sunshine with breakfast and coffee.
At the back of the mall was a place named Chi Ran, serving all vegan dishes. I fell in love with the ‘Honey’ sesame ‘chicken’ balls. Super delicious I went back a couple of times to get them again. They also have a very tasty ‘beef’ in black bean sauce. Highly recommend eating at this place when you’ve finished having a shop around the mall. You can eat in or take out.
For the evening we found a place called The Cardamom Pod ( 1/2685-2689 Gold Coast Hwy, Broadbeach ). They had a huge selection of dishes to choose from, again can be taken away too. We got the tofu curry, falafel with spicy chilli sauce with a side of the marinated tofu dish and the rainbow party salad. All super tasty, lovely atmosphere and tons of vegan desserts. Including ice-cream and cakes.
There were a lot of vegan options in this part of Australia which was brilliant, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely place!
